Last week we were in Paradise, last week we spent time together, strengthening our family… We were spoiled, we had so much fun, we made memories..
Now as I sit here and we are back to reality. We are back to my husband working LONG, LONG days. I wonder how as a family we can take all we learned and implement it in to our daily lives. More than ever I am committed to making “WOW” moments!
I’ve told you a little about the Family Forward retreat, but I want to let you in on something that they are doing on a weekly basis, it is about “Becoming a Super Hero Family“!! I LOVE it, every Wednesday they have a google hangout, during that time you can get the eBook for FREE! If you can’t make it you can find the hangout and discussion on You-tube…
I was so excited to be spending time at Universal Orlando! I mean really, what better place to learn about “Super-Hero’s”!
At the opening “meeting”, I have a hard time calling it that, because it was more like a PARTY! We were given a “FAMILY MISSION”, if we chose to accept it! And WE DID!
We learned to work together as a team! We played fun games as a family, where I learned, that even the “smallest” person on your team is crucial to the whole team! I loved how this taught us that “together” we are better than individually…”Team work is our GREATEST super power!”
We all tried “new” things, We experienced so many “First’s” together…..In fact this was my babies first vacation…and a first as part of our little portion of our family…This FUN photo was taken at the Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. We made it a point to get the photos that were available after the rides! They are priceless! My new photo wall is going to look AWESOME!!
We made projects together… Seriously, how fun is this cute bow tie we made using Minion Duck tape!!! We created…We created so many Memories…
I watched my “Shy” baby boy..(.He isn’t shy around people he knows, but generally is very quiet when around people he doesn’t know. ) Become more secure in himself, he asked questions, and was more of the vocal, active, outgoing child I see privately…
My little Denver even tried Butter Beer in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I still Can’t get over how amazing the whole place was! And the Ride “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey”, thinking about it blows my mind! AMAZING!!!!
I have many more posts to write about our FUN vacation, I owe it to my Family, I really tried to keep this one short, just a little recap! … I hope you will enjoy reading them all. I have lots of pointers, and of course a break down of the BEST roller coasters!
Thanks so much to all the sponsors of this amazing trip!
